In the context of the relative inefficiency of the regular armies’ coalitions in the fight against terrorism, Goodluck Jonathan’s tactic to bring mercenaries into the fight against Boko Haram can be seen as an asymptomatic measure that does not fit into the pattern needed to fight against terrorists.
